LEE & DOTTIE WANAK
WORLDVENTURE - World Focus in Theological Education

After nearly 25 years with CBInternational the Lord is leading us in a new direction. Lee has accepted a position at San Jose Christian College as Professor of Intercultural Studies and will begin teaching in San Jose in December. We will retire from CBInternational the end of October, but we are asking churches to continue their support through December in order to help clear up the significant deficits we have with CBInternational.

This change in ministry comes at an opportune time with our Doctor of Education third cohort group winding down. Two students have completed their dissertations and another 10 have completed proposals and are in the midst of the data collection phase. Lee has tentative plans to return to manila next summer to teach and to attend final dissertation defenses. In the meantime he will continue working with students by e-mail.

It has been a joy to know you as our partners in ministry over these years. You have prayed for us, encouraged us, and gave sacrificially to make our ministry possible. In many ways small and large you have been an integral part of our ministry. You kept us going and stood by us. On a number of occasions people whom we did not even know told us they were praying for us. You helped us with special projects, especially the building of Hope Mountain in Davao City and the funding of scholarships for the Asia Graduate School of Theology Doctor of Education program. You made it possible for many ministers to carry on in our place. We praise God for you and thank you for all you have done.
